Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vext application ("App") provided by Muvon Un Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms. Each license is tied to a single user and may be activated on up to three (3) devices.

2. Version-Based Licensing

Your license covers the major version of the App at the time of purchase. Free updates are included within that major version. Major new versions (e.g., v2, v3) are separate products and require a new license. Existing license holders receive a 50% discount on major version upgrades.

3. Free Trial

The App includes a free trial of 100 dictations and 10 meeting recordings. No payment or account is required to use the free trial. After the trial limits are reached, a one-time payment is required to continue using the App.

4. Payment

Payment is processed within the App. All prices are in USD. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Payments are non-refundable as described in our Refund Policy.

5. Restrictions

You may not: (a) copy, modify, distribute, or resell the App; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (c) remove any proprietary notices or labels; (d) share, transfer, or sublicense your license key to any third party; (e) use the App for any unlawful purpose.

6. Privacy

The App processes all audio and transcription data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your audio, transcriptions, or personal data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Third-Party Services

If you choose to use cloud-based speech or AI models (e.g., OpenAI API, Anthropic API, Gemini), your data is sent to those third-party services under their respective terms and privacy policies. This is optional and not required for core App functionality.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality, language, and model selection.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muvon Un Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App license.

10. Termination

We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies. Sections 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
